Nuance’s Newest Software for Voice-Controlled Music Phones
Nuance, a company that focuses on speech-recognition technology, has adopted Gracenote’s music database to showcase the company’s voice-controlled music-player application.
The Nuance application will be first applied to the Symbian Series 60 smartphone platform which will be showcased at the CTIA cellphone trade show this week. With this application, you will be able to give your music phones instructions so you won’t have to be distracted while you’re walking or while doing something else.
Nuance is also developing the voice-command application for text message writing.
This application from Nuance will be made available in the UK this summer while it will be launched in the US come fall.
