Pachter: Gay Tony to sell 3 mill, Chinatown Wars PSP 1 mill, BioShock delay “big”

Meanwhile, the PSP version of GTA: Chinatown Wars is expected to fare much better than its DS counterpart did with one million units to be sold in North America alone.

This time, he estimates the success of the Grand Theft Auto IV DLC exclusive for Xbox 360, The Ballad of Gay Tony, putting the number of sold units at 3 million. Meanwhile, the PSP version of GTA: Chinatown Wars is expected to fare much better than its DS counterpart did with one million units to be sold in North America alone.
Said Pachter, “Both GTA games will do well, but only Gay Tony this year (fiscal year ends October 31).”
He also wasn’t able to resist making a comment about the announced delay of BioShock 2 to FY2010, describing it as “pretty big”. He said, “They lowered guidance by US$ 0.80 – US$ 0.90, so that pretty much sums up the impact.
