Pew-pew-pew! Twin Bee gameplay

Twin Bee was a staple in any space shooting gamer’s childhood. When Konami said they were bringing it back for the PSP, you can bet that at least 100 people would be going “Pew-pew-pew” on their chairs waiting for the release of a new Twin Bee game.

Konami is hoping to capitalize on worldwide nostalgia as the game bring back five great titles for PSP owners everywhere through the Twin Bee Collection: Twinbee (1985), Detana Twinbee (1991), Twinbee Yahho! Fushigi no Kuni de Ooabare!! (1995), and Pop’n Twinbee (1996). Even better is the nifty little twist that Konami’s cooking up, as you have to play vertically rather than the usual horizontal style, a throwback to its origins on the arcade.

Well, here’s something to tide you over until Twin Bee and Win Bee make their triumphant comeback. Here’s more pew-pew-pew gameplay from the Twin Bee Collection, courtesy of Game Videos.
