Phantasy Star Universe online multiplayer open beta
Our weekend treat is upon us as the Phantasy Star Universe online multiplayer open beta has finally become available in the Marketplace. Phantasy Star Universe is Sega‘s next game in the Phantasy Star series and with the beta you will be able to test out the MMO part of the game with everything from making your character to creating a party of you and up to five friends to explore the world of the Gurhal System and kill any monsters you lay your eyes upon.
The download is actually a lot smaller than we thought it would be – weighing in at 940.50MB. The open beta is a limited time demo which will grant you a temporary GUARDIANS License that will expire at 12:00AM on Wednesday October 18th. They should change the expiration date to October 17th since prior to ending the beta, Xbox Live will have downtime for server maintenance for 24 hours.
So if you have an Xbox Live Gold membership go ahead and check out the beta for PSU on the Marketplace; also if you want to try out the beta with one of the crew from QJ be sure to send a message to ALGEBRA as I will probably be playing it all week long.
