While the photos might not seem that exciting on their own merits, our source tells us that they prove once and for all that wired controllers are in use at Wal-Mart.

It’s also claimed that wired 360 controllers will be put to use in Best Buy and Target endcaps, Toys “R” Us inline displays, and the standalone kiosks at GameStop as well (though those will route through the kiosk’s “controller arms”). Both uncropped photos follow after the jump, but we hope the question of wired-versus-wireless usage in retail kiosks has been laid to rest.
