Pipe Mania goes gold
Pipes and puzzles. Who would’ve thunk they’d go so well together? Well Empire Interactive apparently did, and that’s why they’re happy to announce that the modern Pipe Mania game has gone gold.
If you’re into puzzle games, then this one here’s just right for you. Empire Interactive has announced earlier today that they have completed the development for their multiplatformer, Pipe Mania.
You’ll be facing hours upon hours of brain-teasing fun as you race against time in a series of quests and puzzles alongside quirky characters, humorous storyline and updated gameplay. This franchise has been running since 1989, with the original Pipe Mania first making waves in the puzzle scene, while a follow-up was made in 1991.
So in case you’re way too young to remember the original installments, here’s what you have to do in the game. Basically, you have to lay down a set of pipes on a tiled grid. Your goal is to set down the pipes as quick as you can so that the Flooze (a constant flowing substance that goes faster) will not overflow. Of course, you’re obviously on time constraints here, so you better get those fingers working.
Pipe Mania is set to come out on September 30, 2008 for the platforms DS, PSP, PC, and PS2. It’s published by Atari and scouts an E rating from ESRB.
