In case you weren’t around earlier, we’re reminding you that Flying Lab Software‘s Pirates of the Burning Sea MMORPG will be going down later at 1:30 a.m (April 15). This week’s server downtime will be introducing a new transfer system that will enable you to move your character from one server to another. To this end, the devs are announcing that players can now opt to migrate to these realms:

  • Roberts
  • Blackbeard
  • Rackham
  • Antigua

Keep in mind that Flying Lab will also be disabling the creation of new characters in the following servers, as a means of keeping the game population in check:

  • Bonny
  • Guadeloupe
  • Kidd
  • Morgan
  • Bellamy
  • Bonnet
  • Hornigold

Each of your characters can be transferred only once. You will also be limited to one characters of one nation per server. Other character-related details  that will also be moved include your user content, purchased user content, character level, inventory, money, ships, mission progress, skills, and outfitting.

Any items you have in the auction house will be removed, and your Friend and Ignore lists will be emptied. Those still deliberating on whether they should transfer have about a month to make their decision. Further important details regarding PotBS‘ new character migration scheme can be found in the MMORPG’s official site, via the source link below.
