As we know, Crash and his crazy friends are causing a ruckus in the DS with the release of their new game, Crash Bandicoot Festival. This game will feature nothing but races and mini-games all dealing with which one of them actually gets to the top. But what’s the fun of just trying to get to the top? Isn’t it a lot more fun when there’s betting involved? Hence, the people behind Crash Bandicoot Festival has given us a little more than the usual race game. They’ve also given a chance to hone our gambling skills by introducing the Betting System for Crash Bandicoot Festival!

The betting system will be using DS’ Wifi connection and will be available to players who choose not to participate in a particular game. As spoken in an earlier article, the game allows different players to connect and play the games in the Festival together. However, now, players too have an option not to join in a game. Instead of playing the game, they have an option to watch their friends play and make a bet about it.

Two mini-games in Crash Bandicoot offer the betting option. One is the Crash Ball wherein the players get to be inside a ball and gather as much fruit as they can using their ball. The other game is Crash Target wherein you will get to use a slingshot to hit a target. You can task a friend to play the mini-games while you can place bets on your friend (or your friend’s opponent if you know he sucks at that game). This new betting system adds another punch to this wild and crazy game!
