Playfuls has an article up scrutinizing WoW: Burning Crusade‘s publisher, Vivendi SA is a video game developer; formerly known as Vivendi Universal”>Vivendi, and it is pretty harsh. Their subjective verdict? Blizzard was somewhat prepared, Vivendi was definitely not.
They cite very limited supplies of the game and of pre-paid cards for the game in Eastern European countries. What’s worse is that prior to launch, they say that Vivendi reduced the number of allocated units for the territory. They claim that in Romania, not even the online pre-orders could be satisfied by Vivendi’s initial shipment.
