PMP Mod & Muxer v2.00 released!
It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for, a new version of the PMP mod and muxer has just been released by Jonny! The PMP mod is a media playing application that allows you to play movies at full resolution converted into the .PMP movie format on your PSP.
The update to this legendary mod features:
- VBR MP3s are now supported
- Multiple audio streams can be used (use “select” to switch audio streams)
- Reading routines are now optimized, the app is fully usable with the harddisk or a slow memstick
- Volume boost (from malloc)
- Fast seek with left/right+cross (from malloc)
Jonny states that this application will not work with any firmware above 1.5, but feel free to try it out with the new version of the eLoader ‘Bock’.
In this release, the PMP format has changed, so your old V1 PMP files won’t work with this version, but rest assured, Jonny has also made a remuxer that will convert V1 PMP files into V2 compatible files via drag and drop.
