PS3 Dev Unit Pics
With E3 looming in the horizon, Sony made a strategic move to start shipping out Playstation 3 development units to various software houses. Just by looking at the pictures, the PS3 kits appear big, bulky, and allegedly very noisy when operated according to some software houses. This kit looks smaller than the dev kit released last June 2005 though, and one more thing, it seems that the PS3 dev unit resembles the already extinct contraption of yesteryears, the then-popular betamax.
Whether it plays 4D games remains a mystery, maybe this big, bulky contraption has a flux-capacitor hidden somewhere within the recesses of its big body. Sony better not dare to disappoint the gaming community.
