PS3 FW 3.10 to arrive within October/ November?

Yesterday, we reported on another rumor about cross-game chat being included in the coming FW 3.10 update from Sony. Well guess what, we have another rumor for you — FW 3.10 is “Coming Soon”.
This time, the insider source comes from TheSixthAxis, and they’re claiming that not only is this true, but that the next firmware update will be coming out “either in October or November”. Not too far away, really.
So again, let’s recap. Rumor says: a) XMB-based cross-game voice chat will be available in FW 3.10, and b) FW 3.10 is coming within the next couple of months.
