PS3 start-up screen vid (a faster boot?)

We all know already the the PS3 interface borrows from the PSP. And we’ve seen countless demos already of the Crossbar Menu in action. But how does the console start up? Here’s a vid made by those nice PSM folks that we found on YouTube.

It seems like a faster boot than the PS2 (some complain though that it’s still too slow, people always complain about anything). And compared to the PSP, the change from interface to preview is a bit faster. Now is it just me or does the boot-up music sound a bit weird? Anyway it grows on you. It’s sort of nifty after a few loops.

This video makes November feel oh so far away, don’t it?
