PSP gets fashionable with custom colored prototypes
And the battle of the handhelds just got brighter. Over at the TGS 2006, Sony exhibited some prototype colored PSPs, as if to say that yeah, they sure can meet Nintendo’s colored DS head on.
The prototypes came in bright yellow, metallic red, and metallic blue, along with two camouflage-designed PSPs. We’re not entirely sure when these models will come out, cause there was no word on it. But what is certain is that the PSP will soon be showered a different shade with pink, directly rivalling the pink Nintendo DS.
That’s putting fun and style into these platforms. Maybe they could consider making these casings removable, like what Nokia did with their mobile phones, eh? That way, it’ll be easier and cheaper for the gamers to switch to different colors of their PSPs as their moods see it fit.
