PSP Hacking 101’s CommuteCast: Episode 15
You might think that the sound quality of Pox and Ragable‘s CommuteCasts might be a turn-off, but we actually kind of like it, and sticking their shows onto your iPod and playing them in the car makes you think you’ve got some well-informed backseat drivers.
In episode 15 of the PSP Hacking 101 CommuteCast, they talk about all the waiting they’ve been doing for Sony and Nintendo’s new consoles. That includes the actual time spent in lines and the cold nights in Colorado, as well as the attempts to make some extra cash through eBay sales. Speaking of eBay, they also discuss the launch numbers for the consoles, including some rough estimates on how many were sold online, and speculations on the kind of people who’d be willing to pay big money for auctioned consoles.
Near the end of their CommuteCast, the dynamic duo also get to discuss the issues that people are having with their PS3 units. Most notable of these is the problem with PS3 game resolutions and the downscaling that occurs on certain TVs. The latter part of their CommuteCast serves as a rough overview of the kind of picture quality people will eventually get from their games depending on their monitors, unless Sony fixes it soon.
In any case, why talk about it when you can simply hear it straight from them, right? Enjoy the download.
