DJ Drops is a music puzzle game developed by daaa57150. Akin to Tetris, you have to clear the levels by “resisting” until the end of the song” – and as it is musical, there’s probably a bit of Lumines feel to it as well.
DJ Drops is a music puzzle game developed by daaa57150. Akin to Tetris, you have to clear the levels by “resisting” until the end of the song” – and as it is musical, there’s probably a bit of Lumines feel to it as well.
To “resist” is not exactly futile, cos you’ll be exploding four blocks of the same color or shape. There’s even a nice combo system that will up the ante just so. Here’s the list of combos:
- the classical : blocks explode, those above fall and connect, combo!
- the explosion : the blocks take some time to explode and during this moment you can add other blocks to make more combos
- the cooldown : after an explosion, a small amount of time is given to make blocks explode somewhere else, if you do it before the time is elapsed, you make more combos.
For demo 5, it still has the old level, “S Soup” in normal difficulty, finally finished. And of course, there are some bugs, as well as unfinished graphics (mostly blocks). But as for the gameplay, it’s all finished now.
