PSP-Maps v0.8 – now with Danzeff keyboard support
You don’t have to look like a tourist with a large map in hand. With homebrew developer Royale‘s PSP-Maps, you can view Google Maps from your Sony Playstation Portable. It’s always better not to look like a tourist to avoid being taken advantage of. But toting a large map wherever you go will not fool anyone. With maps retrieved from Google Maps and then viewed on your Sony PSP, homebrew developer Royale‘s PSP-Maps has definitely helped a few travelers along the way. Already equipped with Windows support thanks to the previous build, today’s PSP-Maps version 0.8 adds compatibility for the popular app, Danzeff keyboard, among others.
Here’s the complete changelog from Royale:
- better performance with big cache
- added Danzeff keyboard support
- fixed cache neighborhood option for hybrid maps
- moved images, font and user files to the data/ subfolder
- improved memory usage
Although the addition of a keyboard feature is enough reason to celebrate, you should not overlook the different improvements made to enhance the homebrew app’s performance. Bigger cache, improved memory. What’s not there to love? That’s more maps, more travel destinations!
