Random sapping in neutral cities on WoW stops now!

 

There have been reports of multiple sappings occurring in the neutral cities of World of Warcraft. It wouldn’t have been so bad if you could get some payback for these unprovoked attacks, but apparently sapping a character wasn’t enough to get the ire of the guards who were watching over the city.

Blizzard Poster/ Forum Moderator Nethaera announced that this has been fixed, saying “It’s being corrected so that rogues won’t be able to sap and stay unflagged for PvP in those sorts of situations.” You see, those who would retaliate would quickly find themselves flagged for death and beset by guards. Players no longer have to put up with the relentless sappings since the guards would be taking care of the offenders.

Well, for the rogues who used to do it, it was probably fun while it lasted. With this fix, you’ll have to curb your urges to uncontrollably sap characters. Be sure to keep checking back here for more updates on World of Warcraft.
