Rayman Raving Rabbids Exclusive for Wii?
We all knew Rayman Raving Rabbids was being made to specifically work with the Wii, but we also knew that it was going to be a multiplatform game. How Michel Ancel and his team were going to do both versions of the game at once is definitely a mystery. Now, we know how: According to MeriStation, they’re not. The Wii version, which is the lead version, will be out in time for the Wii’s release (which seems to be a November 2006 date according to this article).
The Wii will have exclusive rights to the game for six months. In May 2007, the PlayStation3 and Xbox 360 will get the ports. However, from all the screens, videos, and information that we’ve received, it seems unlikely that it’ll be the same game. Maybe it’ll be two different versions following the same storyline but with different a gameplay? We’ll have to see when the games come out.
