Still, it’s comforting to find corroboration in its numbers. According to the preliminary data released by Rockstar, the wild west video game moved some 550,000 units in day one in the US alone.

This number of units sold is definitely just the beginning of high-rolling success for Rockstar as the game’s just set to launch in Europe tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be received there just as it was in North America.
