Release of Dark and Light Delayed

NPCube, developers of Dark And Light, have announced a delay of the general release of the game. Due to concerns with bugs, they have decided to push the release date back to the end of May.

As the game is still in its beta stage, the developers have decided to work on improving the balance over the coming month. NPCube manager César Jacquet says, “As the release date gets closer, we are not satisfied enough with the balancing and debugging, and do not wish to release Dark and Light just yet. After many ups and downs (the chikungunya epidemic on Reunion Island as well as logistic issues), the development team wishes to release Dark and Light in the best conditions and to make up for the delay, in order to reward Pioneers who put their trust in us and expect a lot from Dark and Light.”

Pioneers will receive access to the game at 13:00 UT (09:00 US Eastern Daylight Time) on 26 May, 2006. The official release will be will be three days later, on 30 May.
