A tip for you if you want to get in on the early beta access for Star Trek Online: pre-order your copy right now. Steam’s got it all ready for you.

 

Yep, the store’s now open, and when you do get in line for the pre-purchase of the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition, you will receive not only early beta access, but also exclusive in-game items. If, on the other hand, you’d like to settle for the Standard Edition, that shouldn’t be a problem too if in case you want to get in the beta as well cos you’ll still be getting access to it anyway.

 

You’d want to get a move on now cos the beta starts on January 12, 2010 already. So you can expect the beta to open up in but a couple of days for you if you’ve got the early access pass.
