Resident Evil 4 gets a release date for UK

Resident Evil 4 gets a release date - Image 1 While RE: Umbrella Chronicles has been confirmed for some time already, Resident Evil 4 came out of the rumor mill just quite recently. Despite that, however, the latter just got a concrete release date, while Umbrella Chronicles is still floating around with a rather vague availability date that falls some time within 2007.

The news about RE 4‘s release date came from Nintendo Official Magazine UK, and according to the publication, fans will be getting Capcom‘s RE 4 by June 29. Like we’ve said, it’s from the UK edition so it is highly possible that this only applies to that market and the rest of Europe. Meanwhile, there is no mention of other release dates for other territories.

This video game title is actually a remake of the GameCube (GC) version, where main character Special Agent Leon Kennedy was sent to Europe to look for the president’s missing daughter. He then discovered that the kidnapping was perpetrated by the cult Los Illuminados, and from there the game spirals off.

As for controls, we already shared with you a gameplay video that shows how to use the Wiimote and Nunchuk in-game, not to mention a translated control scheme. But basically, the Nunchuk is for moving around while the Wiimote is for slashing and shooting down enemies.
