A “worldwide simultaneous” launch date has now been announced for Rock Band 3, as well as details on the pre-order goods North American gamers will be getting. Are you all ready to rock out once again on your PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS?

A launch date has now been announced for Rock Band 3, as well as details on the pre-order goods North American gamers will be getting. Are you all ready to rock out once again on your PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS?

According to a press release sent out, October 26th is the date to mark on your calendars. It also confirmed the existence of pre-order DLC plans in collaboration with US retailers.

GameStop’s includes among others the appearnce of New Order’s Blue Monday, while Amazon’s lures you with an in-game guitar for the console versions. Apart from that, Amazon is also offering a US$ 10 discount off your future purchases of any game release from the service. Wal-Mart’s in on the pre-orders goodie gig too, with a US$ 10 e-card for the console versions.

The press release did make note that Rock Band 3 “will ship simultaneously worldwide in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other territories, so we’re assuming October 26th will stand for all these territories.
