Rocketmen: Axis of Evil videos and screens – see what’s to come to XBLA and PSN
For those who liked Rocketmen from Wizkids, that tabletop strategy game, here’s a treat. The game incarnation of the styrene space challenge is called Rocketmen: Axis of Evil and it’s coming to the PSN and XBLA.
It’s an arcade shooter being developed by A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Games and Capcom. While checking out the videos, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil looks eerily like Alien Syndrome – crossed with spaceship shooters. Anyway, players will fighting under the Alliance of Free Planets to free the Solar System from the nefarious Legion of Terra. There’s a co-op mode where up to four players can play either online or offline. It boasts of more features:
- Online multiplayer gameplay through a variety of mini games that let players instantly jump into existing games
- Design and build your own character for both single and multi-player games, each with their own unique skills and look
- Male or female
- Three races – Human, Mercurian or Venusian
- Three classes – Fighter, Engineer,Outcast
- Further character customization options through new items and abilities earned by progressing through a variety of quests
- Multiple hours of gameplay with plenty of levels, hordes of enemies, huge bosses and engaging story for maximum replay value
- Beautiful cartoon-like art style brings life to the characters and environments
- Competitive online ranking system
- High definition 1080i graphics
