RUMOR: Blu-ray Demo Disc to come with PS3 at Launch?

Who remembers back in the day when the original Playstation launched with a demo disc giving gamers the chance to try out games without having to rent them first? I know that I remember it all to well and it was one of the first things I thought was pretty awesome from Sony although having a demo disc these days is nothing special. Well there is a rumor going on right now at SPOnG that the Playstation 3 will have a Blu-Ray demo disc coming with the system at launch.

he full rumor looks to be that it will come with a Blu-Ray demo disc designed to showcase how films can look given the high-definition treatment at 1080p to win over non Blu-Ray enthusiasts. So remember this is just a rumor right now, hopefully Sony will continue to follow in their own footsteps and have some kind of demo shipping with the system but no official statements have been made.
