As spotted by Apple fan site 9 to 5 Mac, a Chinese trade site Alibaba.com posted two alleged iPod touch parts that clearly shows a hole in the front plate that appears to be for a front-facing camera to conduct a FaceTime video chat that that recently debuted in Apple’s latest smartphone.
To spice things up, a major UK retailer, John Lewis, said it heard from suppliers that Apple’s next-gen iPod Touch will launch this September and will include many of the iPhone 4’s features, such as 5 megapixel camera lens with flash, the game-enhancing gyroscope, accelerometer technology and the FaceTime calling feature.
