Among those is Samba de Amigo which is now being rumored to make an outing on Nintendo Wii. The said rumors went full swing when one gaming site got hold of the next issue of Nintendo Power and revealed that a sequel is being prepared.

Well, Sega of America has just confirmed the rumors and mentioned that more information will be released soon. Samba de Amigo first appeared in 1999 on Sega Dreamcast.

Gameplay involves shaking the maracas-like controller to match a series of pattern on the screen. While the Wiimote can pose as a maracas itself, it is curious if the sequel’s developer Gearbox Software is planning to come up with a new controller.
