Samurai Warriors Wave becomes Samurai Slash for US release
American audiences will be getting more sword-swinging action very soon, as the latest Samurai Warriors game for the Wii will be headed stateside.
Gamespot received confirmation from a Koei representative that Sengoku Musou Wave, otherwise known as Samurai Warriors Wave will be renamed Samurai Slash for a US release. Of course, since Samurai Warriors is already a spin-off of Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Slash has the strange honor of being the spin-off of a spin-off of a highly successful series.
Much like Red Steel and The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess, Samurai Slash will have players pitting themselves against multiple enemies while using their Wiimote (and possibly their Nunchuk) to attack and defend against overwhelming numbers. Expect Samurai Slash to come out later in the year.
