SCE UK Boss Expressed Disappointment On PS3’s Delay
“We are extremely disappointed at news of this delay. We can truly empathise with everyone who was looking forward to PS3’s imminent release,” stated managing director of SCE UK Ray Maguire on the news that the launch date for PAL territories like Europe will be pushed as far back as March next year.
Although many are disappointed on the delay, Maguire promised that the March 2007 launch is “the biggest and the best in the company’s history.” But will this compromise the failure of SCE to meet customer’s expectation of the console? Also, can Sony bring back customer loyalty after several of its products, including the exploding lithium-ion batteries, seemed to be lacking quality control? Well, only the people can decide.
