SCEE drops 60GB PS3 Starter Pack price to 499 Euros
Along with the confirmation of the new 40GB PlayStation 3 SKU, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has also announced a price cut for the existing 60GB PS3 Starter Pack.
The Starter Pack’s price has now been brought down to €499. The Starter Pack includes a 60GB PS3 with backwards compatibility, an additional SIXAXIS wireless controller and two first party titles. SCEE has yet to give word on what these titles will be, but earlier rumors have pointed towards Heavenly Sword and F1 Championship Edition.
This price cut will apparently be in effect while stocks of the 60GB Starter Pack last, so those who are interested in getting one should get a move on. The announcement also noted that in the UK and Ireland, the Starter Pack will be replaced by a separate in-store promotion on the 60GB PS3.
