Secret of Evangelion gameplay video

Unless anime production company Gainax or Sony decided to bring this title to Western shores, this may be the only time Evangelion fans outside Japan will get to see how video game Secret of Evangelion looks and even feels like. In case you don’t know, the title has already been released there back on June 28.

The video clip below shows one of the most vital parts of the title which is story building. We really couldn’t understand a thing (since it’s in Japanese) but it seems like part of the gameplay involves interacting with a lot of characters. Quite honestly, we were hoping to see some mecha action or even the beautiful Ayanami Rei herself.

Oh well, we guess this is better than nothing. We still have our fingers crossed though, wishing for Secret of Evangelion to have an English version.
