Sega Brings Charlotte’s Web to Nintendo DS
Sega is giving the upcoming Charlotte’s Web movie a little push by bringing the well-loved story to the Nintendo DS.
In the game, you take on the role of Wilbur the pig or Templeton the rat, as you explore four fascinating worlds including Zuckerman’s Barn, a Junkyard, the Countryside, and the Country Fair. Each world contains numerous challenging levels where you are drawn into engaging tasks, meeting and interacting with memorable characters from the movie including Charlotte, Wilbur’s best friend, who seeks help in finding her spider hatchlings; and Gussy the goose, who has a problem of her own – locating and hatching her goslings.
Gameboy Advance and PC versions of Charlotte’s Web will also be available. The Nintendo DS version contains numerous extras that maximize the handheld’s unique capabilities; including stylus support and wireless multiplayer for up to four players. An additional, unlockable mini-game, where gamers can play as Fern and care for Wilbur, is also waiting to be discovered.
Here’s an E3 sneak preview of the game which is scheduled for a Fall 2006 release.
