Set adrift on memory bliss: Gran Turismo HD “Drifting” HD vid

MotorStorm might have all the splashing mud, flying cyclists, and canyon drops. But when you’re talking about drifting, ah, that’s where Gran Turismo HD comes in. Among the nifty little things you could do in the game (aside from just sitting back and watching the eye candy of your replays) is testing your skill in sliding through the course in your red hot, hot-rod of a Ferrari.

If you haven’t downloaded the demo yet, we’ve got you covered. Aside from our first impressions of the racer, here’s a video showing you how to skid around the track. Note the flag counters on the top half of the screen every time the car drifts. As the time span of your drift gets longer, the flags turn red. As more flags on the gauge turn red, the higher your total score. And the higher your score… well, the more bragging rights you get. Ha-ha!
