The Aspect of Cheetah is an ability Hunters have in World of Warcraft that gives a 30% speed increase in movement. Some players have been asking for this to be removed completely or nerfed by not allowing it to be used in combat situations.

Before hunters reading this start readying their (insert favorite weapon), let’s listen to the arguments that Marzuku posted on the Europe WoW forums. The post that was put up essentially said that hunters have become incredible kiters, to the point that they are broken and have to be nerfed a bit. He cited examples of certain bosses who hunters could kite indefinitely until either they or their party kills it. In addition, he also pointed out some of the twinks that were doing things that higher leveled characters could only dream off in the the field of kiting.

That said, Blizzard will have to consider the implications of removing the said skill or even just toning it down. While I personally believe that we should keep it in (and I don’t play Hunter) despite seeing the crazy things they can do. Can we hear from some hunters and what they think about the skill?
