Shrek now has his own kart racer: Shrek Kart
If you’re a digital entity and your company decides to strap you into a go-kart, chances are, you’ve made them so much money that they want you to ride them into a little more. Just like Hollywood celebs and their fancy rides, digital personas probably all hang out together, talk about their karts and drive them while drunk. Mario and Crash will be attending that party, so will the Madagascar crew, and joining that A-list crowd today is the ogre that changed fairy tales forever – Shrek.

That’s right. Dreamworks and Gameloft shook hands to bring Shrek Kart into the App Store, putting the hilarious cast into a kingdom much farther away than Fiona’s hometown. Donkey’s also tagging along for the ride, so will Puss, Pinocchio, Gingerbread Boy, and even the Red Riding Hood Fox (who’s still in granma’s pajamas).
Not only will this ogre have layers, he’ll also have 11 different powerups, 15 tracks, and up to six-way on multiplayer – local only, none for online. Interested? It’s US$ 4.99 for Shrek Kart.
