fail-24We’ve heard of the buzz that Silent Hill: Shattered Memories failed to shatter the glass wall to the NPD top 20 list of December video games. FFCC: The Crystal Bearers failed to impress either. What is surprising however, is that both have sold a measly number of units. Details after the jump.

We’ve heard of the buzz that Silent Hill: Shattered Memories failed to shatter the glass wall to the NPD top 20 list of December video games. FFCC: The Crystal Bearers failed to impress either. What is surprising however, is that both have sold a measly 50,000 units.

Yeah, that’s said, ain’t it?

Shattered Memories have been out for about a month when the stats came out, while Crystal Bearers had been out just a few weeks prior. Still, to register sales that low — and to games critically acclaimed at that — sends up the red flag.

It’s too early to confirm that these two titles are a complete and utter failure, but thus far, the signs definitely aren’t good.
