SKATE developer talks features
Electronic Arts is gearing up with its pads to bring you its most advanced skateboarding sim yet simply titled SKATE. The game lets you do more than just ride the board and do tricks. So what else is out there? Let the devs fill you in on that one:
As you’ve probably heard now, you not only get a single area to practice on in this game. You actually get an entire world full of objects you can interact with. That means you can roam free and skate till you drop and there won’t be a virtual mom to call you home for dinner.
Perhaps the most amazing feature in store for all those skate stylists out there is the fact that you have a very deep replay mode that lets you customize the clips and upload them to EA’s server so you can show off your abilities and see how you stack up with the best of them. SKATE is due out on September 18th for the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360.
