Snezzi DS v0.25a: SNES Emulator for DS
This is Gary Linscott‘s latest version of Snezzi DS, the SNES emulator for the Nintendo DS.
Actually, Snezzi is the DS port of Snezziboy, the SNES emulator for the GBA. Gary made DS related fixes and added his own sound core. Only flashcarts are currently supported.
There are two versions: the sound version and the no-sound version. This is a sound version. Each version has different compatibility, so you’ll have to read the documentation included in the download files.
What has changed between Snezzi DS v0.24b and this new release? In the absence of the official changelog, we’re guessing that Gary has done the usual bug and sound fixes, plus the possible implementation of partial HDMA for background scrolling positions – a breakthrough new feature of the Snezziboy SNES emulator for the GBA. Since some of you may be eager to try it out, we couldn’t wait to write about it.
If you don’t want to try out this update (because there’s no changelog of what’s been updated), you can always wait for the next version. Gary churns these updates out quite often. Good luck to you, Gary!
