Snowball Wars 2.0

That was the sound of a snowball whacking you in the head. Good times.
Well, it’s only been a short while since ro0kie42 came out with the first version of Snowball Wars, but he’s just released version 2.0, which is just as moddable as the first one, but has one new feature: individuality!
The three lives you get to use now have different abilities, such as invisibility, speedy throwing powers and enemy-slowing snowballs, and you can change between the three characters at will. He still hasn’t made a real pause button (you still have to hold it down), but all in all it’s a solid game.
Main application for angry gamers? Imagine you’re Calvin from the Calvin and Hobbes comics and you’re hitting Suzy, that girl you’re always around during the winter season. Fun stuff. Enjoy the download, and you can access the readme after the jump!

Controls:
Hold Triangle, X, Circle, to gain power and let go to throw.
Triangle throws diagonally up (45 degrees)
X throws diagonally down (45 degrees)
Circle throws horizontally
Hold ‘L’ for turbo – makes you and snowballs faster
Hold ‘Start’ to pause. Currently you have to hold it down =
Press ‘R’ to switch men.
In game hud:
Turbo meter at bottom
Red bars are health
Green bar is power (for snowball’s distance)
Game mechanics:
Ability to place your fort.
You start out with three people – Each one with his own abilities.
-Alpha:
Attribute: Covert elimination
Special: Active camouflage
-Beta:
Attribute: Speed
Special: Armor-piercing, bullet-speeding snowballs
-Gamma:
Attribute: None
Special: Icy snowballs slow down opponents
Enemies can dodge bullets
Enemies can aim for you
Your snowball fort is not invincible
Infinite levels -means you can’t win, but you sure can lose – if it gets laggy, set your CPU speed to 333 (through IR shell)
You can’t shoot if you’re behind your fort.
This game is VERY moddable – You can change the dimensions of just about anything, just keep the names the same.
This game gets very difficult very fast.
Modders:
Bigger snowballs will move slower and charge slower, but will be stronger.
Bigger enemies/players will move slower, but have more health.
Smaller enemies/players will move faster, but have less health.
Bigger forts fall faster. (Don’t forget you can’t shoot behind a fort.)
More info:
Alpha – The enemies may not be able to see him (or his snowballs), but they know which direction he’s in so they will throw in his general direction (and more throw more often). Also, they can see you if you’re moving, or if you’re shooting a snowball.

Snowball Power Up Speed: *
Beta – His snowballs power up fast, and travel fast at the cost of having weaker snowballs. In additon, his snowballs can travel right through his enemies.

Gamma – Gamma’s snowballs are packed with liquid nitrogen, and when they hit, they nearly freeze the enemy. In short, his snowballs lower the enemies’ speed.
