Sony and Wal-Mart Donate $20 from Each PSP Sale to Charity
One of our readers – SooperGooman – has sent us word of an advertisement which states that Wal-Mart in, co-operation with Sony, is giving $20 from each PSP sold during the week of September 13-22 to the Children’s Miracle Network. This particular organization helps sick and terminally-ill children in hospitals across the USA. So if you are looking to buy a PSP within the week, make sure you go to Wal-Mart, you have only 5 days left to purchase a PSP within the specified dates and help ill kids. Considering what other companies offer, $20 to a worthwhile charity is a very good amount for donation.
We at QJ.net are in support of anything that gives money to charity and even if you have a new PSP, wouldn’t it be great to have a new one? After all, many users find it very useful to have a PSP for homebrew on firmware 1.5 and a new PSP to keep up-to-date with the latest firmware versions. Alternatively if you don’t want a new PSP you could just donate the $20 to charity anyway, but by doing it this way you are rewarding yourself as well as helping others and even the most cold-hearted gamers out there must agree with that!
Thanks for the tip SooperGooman!
