After declining to grace Leipzig with their presence, Sony has suddenly announced that it is confirming the rumor that there will be at least 27 playable Playstation 3 titles at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, which will bring the total number of games on display to 35, since games that are still in development will also be shown at the TGS.

Though the full list hasn’t been revealed yet, confirmed PS3 titles that will make their appearance include: Playstation 3 games

On top of the games that will be featured at the PS3 booth, there will also be a display of 16 PSP titles which includes Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Ratchet & Clank, and Ace Combat X. Other peripherals that they would also like people to see and experience during the game show would be the PSP camera and GPS receiver. The latter of these items will also have a demonstration on how it can be used in tandem with several game titles.

The Tokyo Game Show will be on September 22 to 24. There’s still time to book those plane tickets and make reservations.
