Sony announces more Monster Hunter Freedom Unite bundles… in Japan
Yep, apart from the European bundle we’ve already seen, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite — well, in this case, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G — is getting two new limited edition PSP bundles in its country of origin.
Yep, apart from the European bundle we’ve already seen, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite — well, in this case, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G — is getting two new limited edition PSP bundles in its country of origin.
The bundles are actually lean affairs. The units have no Monster Hunter branding, not even a special slipcase or strap. What you do get is a choice between a Vibrant Blue and a Radiant Red PSP-3000, each coming with a PSP The Best version of 2nd G. Both bundles go on sale in Japan on Thursday, July 23, for JPÂ¥ 21,000 (US$ 220) each.
Sometimes I really don’t get Sony. They’re releasing a Monster Hunter Freedom Unite bundle in Europe, but not in North America. Of course, given that Europe gets shafted time and again when it comes to games, that’s really good news for gamers in the territory. It’s just that while Capcom is working its butt of trying to promote this game in the West, SCEA hasn’t really stepped up to the plate as much as SCEE has.
