Sony Confirms Playable PS3 Games at TGS (Maybe)
This just in from the Magic Box website: “Sony confirmed that PlayStation 3 and its software titles will be playable at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show on September 22 – 24, in Tokyo, Japan. PS3 will launch in Japan on November 11, 2006.”
We tried looking for other sources to confirm this announcement but we didn’t see any official statements posted on Sony’s website. In fact, we didn’t find any other sites carrying this item. In the same website,posted right under the alleged confirmation was this: “SCEE mentioned the company will supply 150,000 units of PlayStation 3 at launch in UK on November 17, 2006.”
We know that Sony has already denied that 150K figure saying they will ship 2 million PS3 units worldwide. So our advice, as usual, please hold your applause until the news has been verified 100%.
