Sony rolls out official PSP firmware 3.73
QJ.NET Forum members started a thread informing us about the new official PlayStation Portable firmware 3.73. True enough, just moments after the thread was opened, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has officially announced the said change.
As of now, we are still uncertain as to what extent this firmware will affect regular PSP users as well as those who use custom firmwares. The official Japanese official PlayStation website only has one changelog for FW 3.73. More on this after the jump!

- PSP software-only play in the UMD loading screen to stop the symptoms has been confirmed for the UMD drive to improve operating stability.
