Sony to Put More Money Into Marketing the PS3
The PS3’s delay may have caused problems for Sony, but it would also be their major concern now to promote the PS3 more. They should create more hype about the delayed PS3’s release this November if they want it to surpass Xbox 360 sales (though Sony won’t have a problem with their Japan fan base who are certainly not into using the Xbox 360). Sony will also capitalize on the Blu-Ray drive included in the PS3.
What Sony Corp. will be spending in marketing will be compensated by the sales of their products (including their high definition DVD player coming out this July).
