Sony hardware, quite possibly. But if TouchEngine will have anything at all with the PlayStation brand is another story. It was Sony HQ that filed the trademark, not SCE, so this one can fall under any or some of Sony’s many businesses.

There can be many possibilities as to what TouchEngine may turn out to be – possibly a multi-purpose touch-screen controller for media devices, or a form of touch-screen technology to be used in Sony’s next line of gadgetry. Theories, anyone?
