We have exclusive picures of the unboxing of this newest controller recently unveiled in Japan.
Gamers in North America and Europe will have to wait until spring of 2008 to get their hands on a DualShock 3. However, we previously reported that it was possible for Dual Shock 3 controllers released in Japan to work on US and European PS3s. So if you can’t wait until next year, now would be a good time to start ordering a pair of controllers online.
Taking a look at the images of the new controller, it doesn’t look like there were any visible differences (asides from the logo, of course) with its previous version. There were reports that the DualShock 3 weighed slightly heavier than the DualShock 2 because of the added mechanism for its rumble support.
