Sony’s “Dude, Get Your Own” campaign invades TV

new marketing campaign for the PlayStation Portable - Image 1Upping the ante for their “Dude, Get Your Own Campaign“, Sony has now announced that its new marketing strategy will now include TV spots, which will be airing throughout May. You might want to keep a look out for that ad, and hopefully, the company will be able to get this commercial just right.

TV shows giving airtime for Sony’s new TV commercial include “King of the Hill” (FOX), “South Park” (Comedy Central), “Adult Swim” (Cartoon Network), the NBA Playoffs (TNT), “Adult Swim” (Cartoon Network), and “WWE Smackdown” (CW). Apart from that, the good ol’ intarweb will also be having its share of this infiltration from Sony via websites like IGN, Gamespot, ESPN, and more.

And the ball really just keeps rolling for Sony as it will also be sending over promotional materials via direct mail. Not only that, but it will also be launching a brand new website for the “Dude, Get Your Own” campaign.

If Sony successfully avoids any other social faux pas with this new strategy, then we just might see Sony’s profits shoot straight up, thanks to the skyrocketing sales of its PlayStation Portable (PSP).
