Space Station Tycoon delayed until next year?

Namco Bandai has given Space Station Tycoon a Summer release date, and Wii owners have expected it to come out some time this month. Online video game retailers, however, seem to have given a very conservative estimate on when the game will really be released.

As pointed out by video game news site Siliconera, Space Station Tycoon has been given a January 15, 2008 release date by Amazon.com. Similarly, GameStop has also listed the game as having a 2008 release date, albeit a month later than Amazon’s estimate. The game is currently slated for a February 12, 2008 release according to GameStop.

An official announcement from Namco Bandai regarding the game’s delay – if there really is a delay – has yet to surface. Keep checking back here for more updates.
